Post-Conference Field Trips

Extend your Norwegian experience with our exclusive post-conference field trips. Scheduled from Thursday 4th of September until Sunday the 7th, these guided tours offer a fantastic opportunity to explore the natural wonders and cultural heritage of Norway.

Each excursion offers a unique journey through Norway’s breathtaking landscapes, rich wildlife, and remarkable cultural and natural heritage. We’ve designed three distinct excursions, each with its own focus and experience. For those who prefer to explore Norway independently, you're also welcome to make your own adventure—and then join us on Saturday evening at Campus Evenstad, where all groups will reunite for a final dinner and celebration together (see more information here).

Here are the excursions:

Finnskogen Tour: Wander through deep forests, expansive lakes and explore the untouched wilderness of the Finnskogen area
Rondane Tour: Experience the rugged splendor of Rondane National Park, perfect for hiking enthusiasts and nature lovers
Dovrefjell Tour: Venture into majestic mountain ranges, spot the musk oxen and observe some Arctic foxes
Own Tour: Travel independently and discover Norway — then join us for the dinner party at Campus Evenstad on Saturday

FINNSKOGEN TRIP

Discover Finnskogen: Journey Through Deep Forests, Time and Nature

Join us from September 4th to 7th, 2025, for a trip into the spectacular forests of Finnskogen. This journey dives into Norway’s forest heritage through guided hikes, a BBQ lunch featuring discussions on local ecology, and visits to significant sites like the Kjølberget wind park. RONDANE TRIP

Discover Rondane: Journey Through Norway's Spectacular High Country

Join us from September 4th to 7th, 2025, for a breathtaking field trip to Rondane National Park, tailored for those who enjoy hiking in mountainous terrains. Our guided hikes will take you to one of the highlight peaks in the Rondane area - Formokampen! DOVREFJELL TRIP

Discover Dovrefjell: Journey Through Norway's Pristine Highlands

Join us from September 4th to 7th, 2025, for a captivating field trip to Dovrefjell, one of Norway's most iconic high mountain national park. Renowned for its musk oxen population, Dovrefjell plays a crucial role in the conservation efforts of the arctic fox through a dedicated breeding program.
